Herrick on the Medical Devices Tax

Devon Herrick of NCPA has a new short policy brief, "The Job-Killing Medical Device Tax".

He notes that the tax would (1) harm an industry working on slim profit margins, (2) destroy many jobs, and (3) raise health care costs.

This tax will also stifle many new innovations before they ever reach the market. As always, we'll never know about the lives that could have been saved by new devices that weren't developed (but could have been).
