Medicare Fact Check

The latest AAPS briefing tackles the myth that, "Medicare is the model of efficiency and fairness".

The points covered include:
* It is structured as a Ponzi scheme
* Its low administrative costs are a mirage.
* It is sustained by the general fund and by cost-shifting
* It is unfair to both patients and physicians
* The system is rife with fraud
* Government care costs much more
* Medicare taxes impose uncounted costs
These are good reasons to run away from any proposal called "Medicare For All".
